Get The Guy
How To Get The Man Of Your Dreams And Keep Him
Although there are plenty of fish in the sea, landing a “keeper” can be a challenge. Many women find certain traits desirable, and unfortunately there are not very many men who possess all of these traits. Such traits include having a good job, displaying a high level of confidence, caring about their personal growth, being charismatic, and having others look up to them.
Men like these are in high demand, and in the rare instance that you do land the man of your dreams it is important that you do not drive him away with negative behaviors. These types of men have options, and you obviously want to increase your chances with him however you can.
We will discuss these behaviors in a second, but first, ask yourself this: do you constantly get involved with the wrong type of guy?
You may be a perfect ten physically, but displaying negative behaviors and having a bad attitude has a tendency to attract the wrong type of guy. Therefore, it’s important to ask yourself what type of guy you keep attracting, and compare them to the type of guy you want to attract.
The first behavior that many guys try to avoid is a woman who is over dramatic. It’s one thing to cry over a family member getting hurt, but it’s something completely different to cry over a goldfish dying.
Look at the situation through the eyes of the man. He has stability in his life and is working towards a goal.
In order to ensure compatibility, you want to make sure that you are helping him works towards that goal. If you constantly have a problem that is going to cause the world to end, it can become very annoying having to deal with that type of issue every day. You don’t have to be perfect or have an ideal life; however, it is important to keep the drama at a minimum.
The next behavior that drives good men away is being too controlling. Men like being able to be independent, and one thing that can disrupt their behavior is a woman that is too controlling.
This doesn’t mean he should be allowed to do whatever he pleases as loyalty is important. On the other hand, relationships are all about compromising and it’s important for you and him to each maintain a level of independence.
This means no micromanaging and establishing a level of trust and commitment with each other. He may want to visit his friends and family and sometimes it may be without you. As long as the trust and commitment are present in the relationship, this is something that should be accepted.
Speaking of independence, our last behavior is being too dependent. If you become too dependent on him, it could be seen as a burden.
There are a few ways in which you can be too dependent and the first one is in a material way. If you become too focused on money or material possessions, it can quickly turn him off.
Granted, he will want to take care of you but that doesn’t mean you should act like you have a sense of entitlement. Therefore, try to take care of yourself as much as you can.
You can also be too dependent or needy in an emotional way. Obviously, he will want to feel needed by you, but just like with material needs you don’t want him to feel that you’re being too needy. This typically means that you’re not insecure when he is not around, or that you resort to lies and deception in order to keep him close to you.
There you have it. If you want to increase your chances of attracting and keeping the man of your dreams, then avoid these three behaviors like the bubonic plague. Avoid being controlling, dramatic, and needy, and you should have no problem maintaining such a relationship.
